ADAMS hosts over 450 Youth involved in Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of the USA
Omar Syed Farooq Eagle Project, Scouting Background, and Overall Achievements-
Eagle Project – ADAMS BIKE DOCK – The installation of a commercial grade bike dock on the property of ADAMS Center to allow for congregation to have a secure station to park their bikes while at the Moque. A bike dock will encourage more people to come to the Mosque on their bicycles, an alternative that is more environmentally friendly, more healthy and reduces strain on the parking lot. ADAMS has a green Mosque program that advocates for environmentally safe alternatives and a healthy living program which encourages a healthy lifestyle. This project aligns with both of these initiatives
Scouting Background – Omar has been involved in ADAMS Scouting since 2004 as a Cub Scout and then a Boy Scout. In ADAMS Boy Scouts of America Troop 786 He served as Librarian, Troop Guide, Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Senior Patrol Leader. He volunteered in helping Cub Scouts in Pinewood Derbies, volunteering at Day Camp, helping in Mafeking, volunteering in Scouting For Food, Troop Service Projects, and many other Goose Creek District activities
